Halcyon
Our story

Ahouse,andahabitofquiet.

How a stone ruin above the cove became Halcyon Stay.

The beginning

It started with a ruin.

In 2013 we bought a collapsing stone house above an unnamed cove — no roof, a fig tree growing through the kitchen, and a view that stopped us mid-sentence.

We spent three years putting it right by hand, keeping every wall we could and adding as little as possible. Halcyon is what remained.

What we believe
We believe in fewer, better things long meals, real materials, and time that is genuinely your own. Luxury, to us, is simply being left beautifully alone.
The house

Kept, not perfected.

Nine rooms, thick stone walls that hold the cool of the morning, and shutters the colour of the sea. Nothing is grand; everything is considered.

Wood, lime plaster, linen and brass — materials that age well and ask little. The house was here long before us, and will be here long after.
